The 1st National Congress "Science for Business. PARTNERSHIP. ACTION. PROGRESS," organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Łukasiewicz Research Network, took place at EXPO XXI Warsaw from November 19th to 21st, 2025. The event was partnered by the National Centre for Research and Development. It was the first event of this scale in Poland dedicated to strengthening cooperation between science, business, and administration.

The Department of Microelectronics and Computer Science at Lodz University of Technology presented a model of personalized protective clothing designed for mountain rescuers, which generated considerable interest among attendees. This suit features intelligent heating and energy generation from alternative sources, representing an innovative solution on a national scale. The product integrates modern solutions from electronics, IT, clothing, and occupational health and safety. The project's target group is mountain rescuers, who currently use general-purpose passive hiking clothing. Conducting long operations in low temperatures and high humidity requires specialized and personalized protective clothing, and the suit presented at the event addresses these needs.
