From September 2-5, 2025, Department staff presented the results of a project funded by the National Centre for Research and Development – a heated suit for mountain rescuers.
The suit has a heating power of 60W and is controlled by an application with artificial intelligence algorithms.
The system integrates information from both local sensors (user and ambient temperature) and online weather data.
Mountain rescuers conducting long-term operations in low temperatures and high humidity requires specialized and personalized protective clothing, and the suit presented at the event addresses these needs.
