In the latest edition of the „World's Top 2% Scientists” ranking — a prestigious list of the world's most influential researchers, compiled by a team from Stanford University in collaboration with Elsevier — 56 researchers from Lodz University of Technology were recognized among the most highly cited.
In the latest edition of the „World's Top 2% Scientists” ranking — a prestigious list of the world's most influential researchers, compiled by a team from Stanford University in collaboration with Elsevier — 56 researchers from Lodz University of Technology were recognized among the most highly cited.
Comparing the proportion of highly cited researchers across the 20 largest Polish technical universities and universities, the researchers from Lodz University of Technology form the third-largest group in the career-long ranking and simultaneously rank fourth when considering the year 2025 alone.
Among those honoured are two researchers from the Department of Microelectronics and Computer Science:
• Professor George Anders – scientific discipline: Automation, Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Space Technologies,
• Professor Edward Gulski – scientific discipline: Automation, Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Space Technologies.
Both professors were included in the ranking covering their entire scientific careers.
