HyperComplex Seminar with over 20 years tradition, first organized and lead by late prof. Julian Lawrynowicz. It has been a place where wide scope of scientists: mathematicians, physicists and engineers could freely interchange ideas and concepts of their common interest.

We are pleased to inform you that one of the doctoral students of Prof. Andrzej Napieralski, whose co-supervisor was also Dr. Eng. Wojciech Cichalewski, has received an award in the category of doctoral theses in a nationwide competition organized by TRUMPF Huettinger Sp. z o.o.

The Central Institute for Labour Protection - National Research Institute, in collaboration with scientists from our Department, has created a prototype of protective clothing with an active cooling function. This clothing is designed for individuals working in hot microclimates, where the risk of overheating the body is high.

In the United States, the construction of PIP-II is about to commence. This project involves the expansion of an accelerator complex located at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory in Batavia, near Chicago. Upon completion, it will become the most powerful source of high-energy neutrinos.
